Here is my compilation of selected bibliography of the important contemporary evolutionist, Stephen Jay Gould, who was born on September 10, 1941 in New York City. Together with Niles Eldredge he is the great founder of the 'Punctuated Equilibrium School of Evolution'. For the most successful and wonderful book The Panda's Thumb he received the Notable Book Citation from the American Library Association in 1980, and the American Book Award in Science in 1981.
