Welcome to the
Marine & Paleobiological Research Institute

The Marine and Paleobiological Research Institute, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) organization located on Martha's Vineyard Island, Massachusetts, and was founded in 2004.

Its intellectual foundation comes from the educational, research and professional activities of the three directors from the 1960's to present in fields such as ocean engineering, biomedical research, marine biology and paleobiology.

The Institute fosters and supports education and the future of these sciences. The Directors, Officers, Administrator, and other volunteers are not compensated. We welcome adult and student volunteers to help us in our mission. Click here for volunteer opportunities
